Helle Mandra ออกแบบและทดสอบใน Field  โดย Les Stroud, a.k.a "Survivorman" เพื่อให้เข้าถึงการออกแบบมีดใหม่เล่มนี้ Helle ได้เดินทางเข้าไปในที่ห่างไกลความเจริญ ป่าดิบในโรมาเนีย เพื่อที่จะได้ใช้ชีวิตกับ Survivorman สำหรับการถ่ายทำเรื่องราวของเค้าตอนล่าสุด

ณ ทิวเขาอันสุดขั้วใน Carpathian สูง 2,500  เมตร ยาว  1,450 กม.ทอดผ่าน Czech Republic, Slovakia , Poland , Hungary, Ukraine Romania และ Serbia เป็นดินแดนที่ยังไม่เคยถูกแตะต้องมาก่อน เต็มไปด้วยหมีสีน้ำตาลจำนวนมาก หมาป่า เป็นเส้นแบ่งวัฒนธรรมระหว่างยุโรปและเอเชีย เต็มไปด้วยตำนานเรื่องราวของแดร็กคูล่าเรื่องเล่าของชาวโรมาเนียและชาวเตริก

ในระหว่างทางในโรมาเนีย ต้นแบบของ  Mandra ได้เกิดชึ้น ปรับปรุงและแก้ไขจนกระทั่งได้แบบที่สมบูรณ์กับ Helle (Anders)หลังจากกลับมาจากการถ่ายทำ
